The Field Service Technician is always on the move and needs access to information like Service Requests, Service Activities, Accounts, Assets, Entitlements, Parts Inventory, and so on to enable him to perform his job effectively. This series provides an overview of the Siebel Disconnected Mobile for Service Application, which is built on the new Open UI Disconnected Mobile framework. The new application is optimized for tablets and smart phones and allows the field technician to be fully prepared for the field visit, to successfully execute the job and close the visit even when there is no connectivity. After the presentation, two demonstrations are included.
