Very interesting and practical presentation.I have one question or let's say a proposal for further examples..Could you give an example related to the concept of active learning ..?.Based on a comparison what happend when Active Learning (AL) is used and when is not used..(against CPU,memory and HDD).In theory active learning increase performance into a SVM when both the linear or gaussian model is used; main scope is to decrease the amount of memory used, the CPU utilization and the temporary disk space used..(corelated of course with the following aspect to decrease the amount of data used from computational perspective).. Also AL is based on a mechanism that choose the most representative subset of data : what criteria is used to select "the most informative examples"..etc
