This tutorial covers upgrading prior versions of Financial Management applications to version 11.1.2.1. After you upgrade EPM System to version 11.1.2.1, you must upgrade your Financial Management applications before you can use them. You upgrade applications by using either EPM System Configurator or Application Upgrade Utility. If you use EPM System Configurator to upgrade your applications, the system runs Application Upgrade Utility in the background. If the application is a classic application, you can transform it into Performance Management Architect.
