This series of tutorials shows you how to use Application Composer to capture and display additional information about organizations in the Simplified UI pages of your Oracle Sales Cloud application.
In this series, we create a custom field to capture a legacy customer number and display that field in the customer create and edit pages. We then create a join field to display the custom field in the list of sales accounts on the Customers page. We must use a join field to display the field on the Customers page, because the two fields belong to different objects in Application Composer. The customer number field belongs the organization object; the list of sales accounts belongs to the related sales account object.
